Imagine your mind is like a house. When you think about Jesus, read your Bible, sing worship songs, and talk to God, it’s like turning on the lights, locking the doors, and filling the house with joy! Satan doesn’t like that—he runs away from light.
Philippians 4:8 (NIV) says:
“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”
That means when we think about good things—like Jesus, love, kindness, and truth—we leave no room for sin to sneak in.

When Jesus is your best friend, you want to spend time with Him every day. Talk to Him when you wake up, before you go to sleep, and even when you feel upset. The more time you spend with Jesus, the harder it is for Satan to trick you.
Romans 12:2 (NIV) says:
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
That means we shouldn’t copy what the world does—like lying, cheating, or being mean. Instead, we should let God make our minds brand new!
🔥 Turn Away From Sin and Choose God’s Way
Sin might look fun at first, but it always brings sadness later. But Jesus brings peace, joy, and freedom. When you keep your eyes on Christ, you’ll want to run from sin because you’ll see how much better His way is.
Colossians 3:2 (NIV) says:
“Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.”
When we think about Heaven, love, and Jesus, our hearts become stronger, and Satan’s tricks stop working!
